I do not understand. Why are there discensions and arguments among us? Our G_d is the G-d of order and not confusion. Let your yes be yes and your no be no. It is written, " Love one another, just as I have loved you. By this all people will know you are my Talmidim, if you have love for one another"-Jesus.
He is the One who loves us, but will hold us accountable for every word we say.

Help me O’ God.
I am encompassed about on every side
My enemies torment me daily
My accusers speak against me in the night.
My friends have been scattered
And there is no one to talk to.
To share my pain and my misery
My hope or the desires for You!
No one is left me but you Adonay!
No one is left but You.
Come O’God to my aid.
Why do the evil ones persist?
Doing evil in Your sight?
Knowing that the punishment for their crimes is death?
They are blind leading the blind!
They fall into the ditch…

Hi All!
I hope you will not mind the slight intrusion. I just wanted to share my heart with you. I know we are in the grieving process, just as though we have experienced a death in our family. Maybe in some ways this is the same thing. We have a lot of pain to heal from. A lot of grieving to do as well. I know for myself, I loved David and I will always pray for him and his family, and our church as well.
I/We have been praying that the Lord would heal our church and remove anything t…

We had a truly wonderful and blessed time with Adonai this morning! The very best part was to confirm and bless Pastor David in his role as the Spiritual Leader of New Life. After all has been said and done, we gathered at the altar to pray over him and bless him and cover him with our prayers. If you missed it, you missed a truly wonderful time. IN my opinion this should have been done for him some time ago, but God has His reasons and His own purposes.
Bless you all,
Ed Stir

I just wanted to take a moment and let you all know what a GREAT job Susan has and continues to do. I know that in our busy lives, we often don’t take the time to acknowledge a job well done.

What a wonderful and humbling time in the presence of God we had this morning! His anointing was ALL OVER everything today, as it has before, only today His Spirit was deeper, longer, higher and wider that it has been before! Glory to the Holy One! I (we) had prayed this morning for a special anointing on us today and on Pastor David and all the servants here at New Life and we received His blessing today in full, though there is much more to Him than what we saw today, He gave us a measure of H…

A big thanks to Pastor David for a great job on Sunday with the beginning of the "Gone Fishin'" series. It was obvious that a great deal of prayerful thought went into the preparation for this series, and I think that we will all be blessed by learning more about how to share our faith with others. We appreciate the hard work and dedication to the Truth that Pastor David puts into not only this series, but every sermon. We are blessed to have a pastor who is so passionate about God's Word and

If you are interested in helping make the stew, we will be at New Life tomorrow (12/23/09) at 11:00 am.
If you can't be there but you still want to make something, we need baked goods (brownies, cookies, etc) for dessert. (Or if you don't cook, store bought cookies are great.) We will need them at New Life by 11:30 am Christmas Eve.
For anyone traveling downtown to share on Christmas Eve, please be New Life by 11:00 to help pack everything up. We hope to leave by noon.
Thank you to everyone f…

So this last Tuesday, I wanted to make a little gift for the Dude, Share the Food team I work with every week. I gathered up the ingredients to make a banana bread recipe I bragged about to the team and they have long awaited. With each ingredient I used, there seemed to be just enough to cover the recipe and throw away the empty container. Just enough shortening, just enough vanilla extract, just enough eggs.... I baked eight little mini-loaves of banana bread and left with just enough time to…

hey y’all!
this friday evening, dec. 18, 6:30pm, we’ll be getting together to wrap up some gifts that we’ll share on the streets.
come and join us! bring some soup, and we’ll share that with each other. bring some long-johns, and we’ll put those in the gift bags.
(and bring a smile, or we’ll call you “grumpy-pants”…..)
anyone reading this that is too far away to join us; send us some cash, or grocery store gift cards, and we’ll pass it on to the cause.
and everyone reading this, plea…

if anyone can bring some, that would be SUPER FANTASTIC! and we’ll need some extra hands going downtown, since it requires more set-up to put it onto the plates.

October 22nd, 2009
today was a great day on the streets of atlanta.
my friend, rusty, has an old bread truck that we often use to share food on those streets. it’s kind of a “beater”; loud inside, won’t go very fast, one fold-down seat and one folding chair for the passengers…….
the first place we stopped was an area called “little 5 points”. always an interesting crowd there. today was no different. we served food and gave out gloves and blankets to the “typical” homeless types, and to the c…
