Kids Under Construction

What We Do

Kids Under Construction (KUC) is our Sunday morning worship program for 4-year olds through 5th grade. We strive to teach children about God and His love for us in a fun, interactive environment designed especially for them.

The KUC Service

The first 30 minutes of the service consists of praise and worship using Christian songs that appeal to kids. We use lots of hand motions and dance steps to make this a fun and engaging experience.

After the praise and worship time, we group the children according to age so they can have a Bible lesson appropriate for them. This Bible lesson is related to a monthly character value. We also have a monthly Bible verse which each child is encouraged to memorize.

After each group finished with their Bible lessons, all of the kids come back together for a group activity, like a puppet show or group game related to the monthly character value.

Check-In Procedures

The KUC room is located in the rear part of the church, opposite from the nursery. If you are a visitor, please ask anyone in a blue shirt how to get to the Kids Under Construction area. When you check-in your child for the first time, you will be asked to fill out an information card with contact information and any special instructions for each child. Each child is given a name tag so we can quickly learn their name.

Check-Out Procedures

Every child in KUC is given a name tag with a parents card in it. You should present this card to the KUC staff when picking up your children.
